It contains added tidbits about her & what she contributed to our state of Co., in her lifetime, much of which, I was unaware. This should be shared, with pride in her accomplishments, beyond her fame in the Titanic story.

Re: Heroism of men on Titanic used as barb against the women’s suffrage movement

On the contrary, their combined weight would have forced the ship to sink quicker. Why should men have had to drown because of women's poor exercise regimen?

But, just a thought, weren't all the male passengers also not reponsible? Why women and children, instead of 'passengers' first?

Re: Titanic survivors: Their enduring stories

im doing a project on the titanic surviors . do you know where i can find articles on the surviors besides this one ?

Re: Heroism of men on Titanic used as barb against the women’s suffrage movement

"Women, in other words, would have made sure there was legislation requiring enough lifeboats to save everyone on board."

This exhibit in commemoration of its centennial year is one of the many events that were organized all over the world. It brings a lot of nostalgic memories especially to the victims' relatives. Hopefully, similar incidents can be reduced through observance of safety.

Re: April 18, 1912: Parisian carries no survivors

titanic was a one of the the kind u never find anymore like the TITANIC

Re: Smooth sailing ahead: The chase for Molly Brown continues

Show your kids how to journey. All the knowledge that was known to those engineers who designed the Titantic went into building a ship that was believed to be unsinkable and indestructable. Now, 100 years later, one can look over the skeleton of that mighty ship and find fault in her craftsmanship but those that do err because they are applying today's technological advances that did not exist at that time. She represented all the attributes and failings of a time that was just coming into it's own.

Re: Titanic: The enduring appeal 100 years later

Gene - the address should be wadesisson@yahoo.com.
